The facts about a record: label, value, label, value. A semantic `dl`, not a grid of spans — and facts are mono.

When to use it

The head of a record's detail: number, customer, state, due date. The commonest block on a detail screen there is.
A summary above a form or in a side panel — what does not change and cannot be edited here.

When not to use it

It can be edited. A label with a value being typed into is IngotField — and if the label is to stand on the left, that is labelPlacement="side".
There is more than a handful and it is read row by row across records. That is IngotTable: a list of pairs is not a table and a table is not a list of pairs.
Large figures the screen is meant to look at. Those are IngotMetrics — tiles with a number and a caption, not a row of facts.

Properties

items: readonly IngotDescriptionItem[] — The label–value pairs, in the order they are to be read.
columns: 1 | 2 — `1` (the default) reads down the page — a narrow panel, a side column. `2` puts pairs side by side for a wide detail and folds back to one below `sm`, where two columns would leave room for neither the label nor the value.
className: string — Placing the block only.
testId: string — An anchor for tests.
